It takes a lot of test playing, thoughtful reflection, and iterations to the rules, board, and pieces until a game is refined enough for everyone to appreciate. This page shows some of the earliest images of Adomoc prototypes from the beginning (2001) to the present. Trivia note: although the first iteration of the pieces were supposed to resemble a sun, moon, and foot, they were initially called an Am, Em, and Im.

Adomoc Playing Pieces (Official Video Game & Disk Print) 2011. Keigher designed these pieces finally to get the most out of easily recognizable shapes for a video game format (that could be very small or large) or for printed purposes. These became the official images used in the laser-cut pieces.
Adomoc Playing Pieces (Official Video Game & Disk Print) 2010. Keigher designed these pieces to get the most out of easily recognizable shapes for a video game format (that could be very small or large) or for printed purposes.

Adomoc Playing Pieces (Contemporary Video Game Prototype) Abstract Universal Theme had Several Variations (2010/2011) focused on universality.
Adomoc Game Board – Final Official Design 2010. Keigher struck the right balance of providing non-obtrusive guidelines, clear spaces and breed origin spaces, and a beautifully, universal and contemporary appearance. This design is the basis for official Adomoc boards.
Adomoc Board (Precursor Prototype) – this version of the board was used for over a decade starting from 2001 or 2002.
Adomoc Board Prototype 7 (Post-Precursor/Pre-Official 2010) – this board was a test in refining the “Precursor Prototype”. It’s goal was to clarify movement, support a video game version, and a physical version.
Adomoc Board Prototype 6 (Post-Precursor/Pre-Official 2010) – this board was a test in refining the “Precursor Prototype”. It’s goal was to clarify movement, support a video game version, and a physical version.
Fourth Adomoc Board Prototype Design (Printed Foam Core) 2001 – spirals are easier to see, spaces are difficult to see, and each breed’s origin spaces are unclear.
Adomoc Board Prototype 5 (Post-Precursor/Pre-Official 2010) – this board was a test in refining the “Precursor Prototype”. It’s goal was to clarify movement, support a video game version, and a physical version.
Third Adomoc Board Prototype Design (Printed Paper) 2001 – spirals are easier to see, spaces are difficult to see, and each breed’s origin spaces are unclear.
First Adomoc Board Prototype Design (Printed Paper 2001 – spirals are hard see, spaces are not obvious, and each breed’s origin spaces are unclear.
Second Adomoc Board Prototype Design (Printed Paper) 2001 – Although the spaces become obvious, spirals are hard see, and each breed’s origin spaces are unclear.
